"Phillip" captures the vibrant essence of an old Bedford bus I stumbled upon on the Russell-Whakapara Road in the Bay of Islands. My inspiration from derelict objects shines through the vivid colors that bring life to this nostalgic scene. The piece is named after my Mainecoon Cat, Phillip, who was my daily companion in the studio until his untimely passing just days before his 4th birthday in July 2024.
