Toi Tū

Toi Tū is a thoughtfully curated art exhibition held at Haratu Marae in Kororāreka / Russell.

Bringing together Māori and non-Māori artists from Te Tai Tokerau and beyond, the exhibition explores themes of identity, whenua, memory and connection. Set within the living heart of the marae, the works are presented with care and respect, creating a calm and inclusive space that invites reflection, dialogue and shared experience.

Toi Tū celebrates creativity as a unifying force — grounded in place, community and cultural exchange. Lana Kingsbeer is the exhibition’s curator and lead.
